Sculpting with Andre Verheije

Disciplines: Sculpting wood and stone, working in aluminum and copper sheeting, casting in bronze and concrete
Andre's works can be found in many government collections in the Netherlands where he was also an instructor. In 69-70 Andre took a leave from the Academy in Belgium and studied Celtic art, artifacts and architecture in Ireland. Upon moving to Canada his work was further influenced by West Coast Native carvings giving his art a truly diverse and free sense of design and movement.
