Did you know that many of the churches in the
North of the province were painted with fish oil and
pigment?
Did you know that Medicine Hat's Historical Medalta Pottery made most of the dishes for Canadians in the 1930s? Did you know that the Glenbow Museum is the result of one mans dream? Did you know there were two groups of artists called the Group of Seven? Who said "all hell for a basement"? Why? Our documentary crew traveled 30,000km in 10 months and discovered that they only scratched the surface when it comes to the wealth of arts and cultures this province has to offer. Help us in providing an all inclusive look at Alberta's arts and cultural history! We could not possibly have been everywhere in 2004 and there are many artists, musicians, institutions and art history stories that we undoubtedly have missed. Send them to us and we will include them here. dreamers@dreamersanddoers.ca
